Boo was reactive to everything on the street. But his reactivity towards cars and bicycles was severe. Her owner hadn’t been able to walk her dog for about 4 years. The main problem was that her house was located on main street. She worked with other trainers but they just kept telling her to keep Boo under threshold. It was not a realistic solution.

I started working with Boo on my own. During my training sessions with him, I used bring my dog, Choco and a client’s dog, Archie. They were the ones who build Boo’s trust in dogs.

We ended doing sessions one-on-one to make sure Tracey was able to keep up the progress we made. His progress was amazing, we ended up having session in different environments to expose Tracey and Boo.

It is essential for me to expose people so when they are on their own in a challenging situation, it won’t be their first time and they will know how to handle it.
